SOUTH SIDE EXPRESSIONS

I was asked by the girls behind South Side Expressions, which I’ve collaborated in an exhibition in the past, to design their logo. I did several options just for fun in which the blue big one ended up being chosen for their official one.

TOMS

One month ago I was commissioned to customize shoes for TOMS in Office shops around London so here’s a small part of the result. It was crazy the amount of shoes painted, I had loads of fun and got the most silly requests along with some other cool ones!

COLHER

Portuguse Illustration is the first publication of Colher which aims to boost portuguese illustration by showcasing the work of the most talented Portuguese illustrators and also non-portuguese who have had an academic or professional experience in Portugal. Confined to a special edition of 200 copies, this project stands out for its innovative printing technique, risography held by London’s oldest printing company specialised in this type of printing – Ditto Press. Apart from a texture of its own, risography also allows the use of special colours, and Colher chose a garish and captivating fluorescent orange that gives other brilliance to the illustrations. “

I’m so glad I was part of this awesome limited edition book! Wicked colors, textures and illustrations! Get yours while you can here!

TANKS MATE

“After the Utopia” exhibition was a success! The private view was packed, full of cool people, wicked artworks and booze. I really enjoyed making part of this. My piece was hand painted, acrylics and markers on rough paper in a approximately A1 size. My artwork is available here and you can check more pictures of the event in Plasticina’s facebook page.

FREEDOM DAY

On the 28th of April (this Thursday) me and some of the coolest young portuguese illustrators are showing up our views on our revolution and freedom day in Acquire Arts Gallery, Battersea/Brixton. Should be pretty awesome to say the least, as the selection of artists is just wicked. I heard there’s going to be some tasty Portuguese food, so make sure you won’t miss it!
